Dear Pine Hill Church family,
Maybe there is some light at the end of this deadly virus tunnel. Some Georgia business have permission to open and others are sure to follow. Whether this is a good idea or not is yet to be seen. If it is a poor decision then more are going to die. Like you I have been staying at home and wearing a mask if I have to go to the grocery. If this should be a good decision maybe we can return to normal lives if such a things will actually exist. None of us want to live this kind of life no longer than absolutely necessary. We have not been abandoned because our God is with us. Remember what David said in his difficult time in Psalm 23:4 Even thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for You are with me! And in Psalm 34:15 He wrote, "The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and His ears toward their cry!" And in Psalm 50:15 He said, "Call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me!" Then Jeremiah added in Chapter 32:27 "Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?" What our Lord is telling us is that He can control this virus and the trouble it has caused us and there is nothing He can't do for His children. Tomorrow we will conduct Church but in a bit different manner at 10:45. From the porch of the Church, with Jason's help and God's blessing, we will broadcast the service on a low power FM transmitter with a coverage of approximately half a mile. Please come and remain in your vehicles in keeping with what we have been ask to do and turn your vehicle radio to FM 106.9 and it should be loud and clear. Bring your Bibles because there will not be a screen to show the scriptures and I will be using a lot of scripture references that you will want to follow. After the benediction our ushers will pass by your vehicles and you can make your offering or use your internet from home to do it. Since we have never had a service like this before please cooperate with our ushers (ever though they will be wearing masks). I am depending on your prayers to make this a real worship service that will magnify our Lord. I have never preached from the front steps a Church before. We have so much to thank Him for, this is the day to come to His house and praise Him.
