Dear Pine Hill Baptist Church family,

Our Country is under siege but our Lord is not. Our Country is in a medical crisis but our Lord is not. Our Country is in a financial meltdown but our Lord is not. Our Country is running out of answers but our Lord is not. Yes we are concerned and some of our family has already been laid off but our God is still answering prayer. One of my favorite Bible verses in times when there seems to be no answers is Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplications with Thanksgiving let your request be known to God! That promise has not been cancelled by our Lord. Yes, it is a time to be much in prayer because we have so much to pray about but we must have faith in prayer, remember Jesus told Peter, "if you want to walk on water, you have to get out of the boat." Christians, this is a time for us to get out of the boat and live with hope and not despair. The Church is not the building that we cannot go to tomorrow, but the Church is the people who will worship with us on our online program at 10:45 either via our website or Facebook. (I will be looking for you while I am preaching) Please keep your Bible study up to date along with your prayer life while we must remain in our homes. There are many great great religious leaders whose daily programs are available to us. Pray that our Church will stick together and when this is over and we return to the building we will be spiritually stronger than ever. Pray for our Countrymen who have lost loved ones and are unable to have funerals. Also pray for the President, his administration and Congress and they try to lead us through this. I am praying for all of you that you will be spared this virus and are using this crisis to grow in His grace and favor. I love you.
